If you don't have a usb hub you're pretty much left with buying a severe hardware issue -I've not read about anyone without USB ports buying a dongle that actually works on anative machine without doing some sort of modification to the system. Mostlythey ( Macs ) are equipped with a tiny usb port so you need a seperate contractor jack adapter to plug it directly into ausb port, these now start at about the £90 mark - but of course they still doneed a hub to have any spare space to plug in anything (or 2) or become a heavyish itemin your ruck. if it stays with you for the duration, ie. transport to work ortraining then you can consider it, but if it's something to use once in a blue moon, then I wouldn't bother. I know I can plug my ipod nano in to my usb port and work fora lot for a few hours and no problems, but I carry cubase and get much moreuse out of it. I'd like to think that if there was a dongle type of thing, pre-builtthat would work with a native mac, that I'd have one, but don't rock the boatsetting sail, and have a safe and happy life without the need for a hub anddongle. Don't you dream as well?-Peace! d2c66b5586
