But the human conditionbeing what it is, and if you know your Madame Bovary, happiness is hard to find.The film intersects the affair with a creep suburban story and a whole otherplot line. LITTLE CHILDREN lives up well to the expectations everyone had forTodd Field after the success of his gloomy In the Bedroom.
