The main point of divergence is that, while Portal's puzzles mainly dealt with space, The Entropy Centre's are about time. Your trusty entropy device can be used to rewind items, projectiles, and even certain world objects, which really made me think outside the box. Well, for the first half of the 10-hour journey, at least. A significant portion of the dozens of chambers I went through felt kind of samey once I understood the basic logic they were designed with, and I wish it explored more creative and elaborate ways to mix things up.
You start the adventure in an alley leading to the earth. Move towards the earth to discover its fatal destiny. After the explosion, you wake up in a center. Welcome to the Entropy Center. In your room, go interact with the computer on the right. Use the command open the door of the PC to leave your room.
Proceed down the hall to reach an elevator. Climb inside to go down to the hall. Follow the arrows towards reception. Along the way, you meet E a small robot. Keep moving towards Puzzle Areas 01. Follow the signs to end up in the center.
As you continue forward, a platform collapses and you fall down one floor. A locked door prevents you from moving forward. Follow the tutorial to complete this first puzzle. Pick up the cube and drop it on the door mechanism. Proceed through the center corridors. Debris is blocking the way. Enter the Entropy testing lab room.
In the room, launch a test by interacting with the padlock. When the entropy test is complete, enter the test space. Retrieve the weapon from the table and meet Astra. Follow the tutorial and rewind the pillar to piece it back together. Exit the test room and use your weapon on the debris. Rewind the rubble to open a passage.
Enter puzzle area 0303. For this puzzle, you only have a jump cube. Take the cube and go place it in the center of the two raised platforms in front of the entrance. By placing it in the middle, you can jump on it from one platform to reach the other. Take the cube back and do the same between the other two raised platforms on the left side. Climb the stairs and jump on the jump cube below you to reach the platform in front of you. On the other side, rewind the jump cube to place it between the other two platforms. Do this now, because if you pass the portal, your rewind history will be deleted. Go forward and go through the time portal. At the end of the catwalk, drop onto the jump cube to reach the platform in front of you. Keep moving forward to reach the next puzzle.
Enter puzzle area 0502. Collect the jump cube in the center of the area. Place the cube on the exit door mechanism to the far right of the area. Pick up the cube and place it on the extendable bridge mechanism in the center of the area. Recover the cube again to place it at the foot of the raised platform to allow you to climb. Jump on the cube and go up the stairs. Rewind the cube to position it on the bridge mechanism. Cross the bridge. Near the exit door, rewind the cube to place it on the exit door mechanism. Go on your way.
Enter puzzle area 0505. In this area, you have a cube. Pick up the cube and position it on the exit door mechanism (at the bottom of the area). Pick up the cube and put it on the extendable bridge mechanism in the center of the area. Collect the cube and position it on the time portal mechanism at the bottom of the bridge. Take the cube again and place it on the mechanism of the double door. Climb the stairs and go through the double doors. Rewind the cube to place it on the portal mechanism. Climb on the springboard after the stairs to reach the platform in front of you. Rewind the cube to place it on the bridge mechanism. Go across the bridge and rewind the cube to position it on the exit door mechanism.
You are in the entropy market area. You need to find two electrical panels to power and open the door to the area. Go up to the warehouse market with the stairs. One of the electrical panels is in a storage room in the market. You need to find the power supply from the storage room door. A power supply is on the wall to the far right of the market. Another power supply is on the center wall, above the fridges. The last power supply is on the wall at the entrance to the market facing the distributors. Enter the storage room and collect the electrical panel. Go put it on one of the mechanisms of the door
Enter puzzle area 0603. You find robot E. In this area, you have a bridge cube and a jump cube. Pick up the bridge cube and go up the stairs. Go position the bridge cube on the purple mark. The mark is on the right of the stairs opposite the exit. Collect the cube and place it on the purple mark to the left of the stairs. Go back down the stairs and pick up the jump cube. Place the jump cube between the two raised platforms in the center of the area. Pick up the jump cube and take it to the deck of the bridge cube. Place the jump cube facing the first raised platform. Jump on the cube to reach the first platform. Rewind the jump cube to put it in the middle of the two raised platforms. Rewind the bridge cube to place it on the purple mark facing the exit. Jump on the jump cube to reach the second raised platform. Jump on the cube bridge and reach the exit.
To unlock the area, you need to find all three door mechanisms. Follow the power cables of the mechanisms to find them. You can dodge robots by hiding behind stone walls. Take the jump cube in the center of the area. The first mechanism is on the left of the entrance. You need to land the jump cube at the bottom of the platform where the cable leads. Jump on the platform and press the switch. Collect the cube and place it under the platform to the left of the door. Jump on the cube to reach the second switch. Repeat the operation on the platform to the right of the exit door.
Keep an eye out for desks with computers on them. Most computers will just seem off, but others will have an inbox open that players can look at. These are terminal messages, which contain interactions from workers of the center's past. It is a peek at what it used to be like to live in a building that rewinds time and is entirely on the moon.
Most studies which have examined the effect of aging or dual-tasking on gait function, use self-paced walking and do not control for gait speed. Self-paced walking results in different walking speeds and, therefore, each walking condition will have a different average number of data points per stride. It has been shown that gait speed is significantly reduced during dual-task walking compared to walk only trials [22] and it has been reported that speed has a significant effect on measures of dynamical systems, such as the largest Lyapunov exponent [23,24,25]. Moreover, researchers have used different sampling frequencies when collecting target whole signals, which in turn have resulted in a different average number of data points per stride. It is unknown whether a different average number of data points per stride caused by varying walking speed or sampling rate would affect SampEn. Furthermore, many researchers have opted to apply SampEn, or other entropy measures, to raw unfiltered signals [8,16,26] to avoid losing or altering information due to filtering. While others have filtered the high-frequency components of trunk linear acceleration signal using a cut-off frequency of 20 Hz [14,27]. Therefore, investigating the effect of filtering would also be beneficial.
Trajectory of the center of pressure under WO, WO-1.3, and DT conditions: (A) The low-pass filtered trajectory of center of pressure displayed as AP COP-D vs. ML COP-D, (B) Filtered ML COP-D, (C) Several strides of unfiltered ML COP-D.
The results of this study suggest that SampEn benefits from a relative consistency (a significant increase from WO to DT) across different combinations of the variant values of m, r, and f. For chaotic signals like Mackey-Glass system, which resemble periodic time series, entropy values decrease with increasing the m values [36]. In the present study, there was a decreasing trend of SampEn of ML COP-D signal with increasing m. However, there were exceptions and SampEn values plateaued only at m=4 for f=16. Nevertheless, for most combinations, there was a statistically significant increase of SampEn from WO to DT. With respect to changes in template size at higher sampling rates, SampEn showed an increasing trend with increasing m. A possible reason for this behavior may be related to the strong periodicity of the signal. To overcome this, larger template sizes might be chosen for signals collected at higher sampling rates. A similar issue exists for lower sampling rates where SampEn values increased with increasing m, but only after a specific m value. This suggests that smaller m values should be chosen for lower sampling rates. The two tolerance values performed similarly since the smaller one was already larger than the noise level of the signal.
There are three limitations to this study. First, the sample size of the current study (29 participants) which led to performing several 2-factor repeated measure ANOVA instead of for example two 3-factor repeated measure ANOVA. A much larger sample size would be more appropriate to study the effect of four factors each with many levels. Second, this study examined the discriminatory ability of SampEn by only comparing WO to DT conditions. Several other factors, such as aging, should be considered to generalize the results of this study. Finally, only SampEn, which is a single-scale entropy measure, was studied. Multi-scale SampEn analysis [12] or modified SampEn analysis (incorporating a time delay greater than one) [37] would likely yield important findings.
HEAs consist of 5 or more different elements, whose atomic positions in the crystal are determined by the entropy effect and therefore mixed randomly. As consequence, the active surface consists of millions of different possible atomic arrangements. 59ce067264
