I was able to download and configure the app, but it looks like you can't run the app while using the running activity. Am I missing something, or do you have to choose between the metronome and everything else (timer, distance, heart rate, etc.)?
Tried to write a review before, but garmin servers were down... as a beginner mandolin player a metronome is something great to have, and one that goes everywhere with me is outstanding!Small issue, the down tempo button works, but the up does not! I am using a vivoactive touchscreen watch! There is not a lot to play at 48bpm where it stuck!Looking forward to using this outstanding app!
I use a variety of metronomes as a drummer. I have been seeing ads for a $99 metronome watch so I checked here and was excited to see this app. Unfortunately, it lacks the flexibility to use it for live performances. There needs to be a faster way to change the tempo besides one click at a time on an arrow that is hard to hit without returning to the settings. I will be watching for updates.
The exception thrown indicates that the file /home/phil/Projects/metronome/gluon-samples-master/HelloFX/target/gluonfx/aarch64-android/libHelloFX.so does not exist. Indeed, the file folder /aarch64-android only holds two file folders: gensrc and gvm.
Timing is essential for rehearsal and recording, and the HS-5 includes a built-in metronome to keep everyone playing together. Just press the dedicated Click/Tap button to start the metronome, and then tap the button at the desired tempo to adjust the speed for the music.
The metronome has four different sounds: A woodblock, high-hat, beeps, and clicks. You can adjust its volume, and if you have an audio interface, you can assign the output channels it is sent to, so that you can separate the metronome from other outputs.
Pulse is a brand new metronome built from the ground up. It does what you would expect from a metronome but it also comes with unique exercises that are designed to challenge and improve your sense of timing.* Selected features *- Tap to mute/change accents for beats- Tap to set tempo- Built in unique exercises (modifiers)- Arrange songs in setlists for practice and gigs- Select tempo from a list of Italian names (Larghissimo-Prestissimo)- Select tempo from a list of Classical metronome markings* Exercises *There are seven built-in exercises in Pulse designed to help you develop your timing:* Mute beatsThe metronome randomly mutes beats, giving you less to lean on, forcing you to develop and trust your own internal timing.* Mute barsThe metronome randomly mutes for a set maximum number of bars, forcing you to keep time yourself. The metronome is still running, but silently. When it unmutes again, you can check if you are in time or not.* Shift beatsThis exercise mutes all but one of the beats in the bar. The sounding beat shifts. For example, using a time signature of 4/4:1 - - -- 2 - -- - 3 -- - - 4* Random Start TempoPlaying a piece at slightly different tempos forces you to pay more attention to the timing. This exercise keeps you on your toes by altering the tempo each time the metronome starts.* AcceleratorThis exercise lets you practice a difficult piece/passage at a comfortable tempo and then increase the tempo gradually.Set the tempo to a low setting where it is possible to play the piece correctly. The modifier will keep this tempo for a set number of bars and then increase the tempo with a set number of BPMs.* DeceleratorThis exercise does the opposite of Accelerator. Set the starting tempo and the modifier will keep this tempo for a set number of bars and then gradually decrease the tempo with a set number of BPMs.* RollercoasterThe tempo varies and the goal is to follow as it goes up and down, like a rollercoaster. This is an advanced exercise forcing you to listen and pay attention to the tempo. It's very fun as well. 2b1af7f3a8
